Moinuddin Malim is a seasoned banker with nearly 30 years of experience in Islamic banking, structured finance, asset management and capital markets across all products and asset classes. Moin holds various non-executive board positions including Al Rostamani International Exchange in United Arab Emirates and Africa And Gulf Bank in Sudan. Moin was also a board member and member of investment committee of National Bonds Corporation, Dubai, United Arab Emirates for more than 10 years (until June 2020).
Moin founded and is Managing Partner of AIMS, an investment and advisory boutique, which continues to work very closely with sovereigns, quasi-sovereigns, corporates and Islamic financial institutions across the world. Previously, Moin was also the Chief Executive Officer, head of Islamic Banking and a board member of Mashreq Al Islami.
Moin is an active speaker on Islamic finance events, written papers for Islamic think tanks and major publications houses, and has taken leadership roles in Islamic Banking Committees set up by the regulators.
Moin has Master of Business Administration in Finance & Int’l Business as well as Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance both from University of Toledo in USA and a Bachelor of Science from University of Karachi in Pakistan.
